Spotlight on: Milo

Meet Milo! He is retired racing greyhound from New Zealand. He is a happy, affectionate, and playful dog who is looking for a special home to call his own. He is both independent and people oriented. He has amazing leash manners and loves going on his daily walks to watch birds and squirrels. His three favorite things are: food, squeaky toys, and watching little animals run outside. He could watch little these animals outside for hours and never get bored. In the winter months he loves being bundled up in warm coats and modeling them on his walks outdoors. He also adores playing with his squeaky toys and doing the occasional zoomie. Milo has shown to do great with dogs of all sizes and enjoys making new friends.

Milo is looking for a home with a dog-savvy adopter who can monitor his resource guarding tendencies that he has presented in the past. As well, he can be a bit hesitant around strangers and takes some time to form a bond with new people, but once he does he’s the sweetest boy.

He does not have high exercise requirements due to a previous injury. With a structured home environment he is sure to be a loving and affectionate companion.
