DAYCARE & BOARDING FAQS

Fast Friends Doggy Daycare and Boarding is open to dogs of all breeds. We ask that all dogs who come to us are in good health and current on rabies, DAPPi or DHLPP, and bordetella vaccines. Dogs older than six months who are playing in Doggy Daycare must be spayed or neutered. Intact dogs are welcome to board with us, except for females in heat.

Please note that we are not equipped to care for dogs with certain medical conditions, including but not limited to seizure disorders, heart conditions, and diabetes. We are also not able to care for dogs who are 12 years or older.

The following FAQs answer some of the most common questions we hear. Please visit our Doggy Daycare page or Boarding page for full information on those services, including pricing. If you have further questions or are ready to get started, please call us at 603-355-1556 or send a message to allbreeddoggydaycare@live.com.

DAYCARE FAQS

Q: What are your hours for Doggy Daycare?

A: We are open from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday for daycare pick up and drop off.

Q: Do I need to make reservations for Doggy Daycare?

A: We require reservations for a dog’s first day at daycare, but we do not need any reservations after that!

Q: What happens if I can’t pick my dog up by closing?

A: We close our doors promptly at 6 pm on weekdays. If you are not able to pick up your dog by closing, we will get your pup set up in our boarding facility. The cost of boarding and meals will be due upon pick up.

Q: What does my dog do when it’s hot outside?

A: For the heat of the summer, we have pools set up in each of our daycare yards at all times. We also have air conditioned indoor play areas that the dogs ALWAYS have access to. Ample clean drinking water is provided and changed throughout the day.

Q: What does my dog do when it’s cold outside?

A: Dogs are never required to be outside; they always have access to an indoor play area, featuring heated flooring to keep them warm in winter.

Q: Can I bring lunch for my dog?

A: Yes! Many of our dogs come out of playgroup for lunchtime and a rest.

Q: Can I bring treats for my dog?

A: You are welcome to bring special treats for your dog to have at the front desk. Please let us know if your dog have food sensitivities! We do not give treats outside of the lobby to avoid any resource guarding or other conflicts.

Q: Why don’t you have toys for the dogs in Doggy Daycare?

A: We have sturdy play structures for the dogs to play on, but do NOT provide toys, because some dogs can become protective and we want to avoid fights.

BOARDING FAQS

Q: What is the difference between Premium and Standard Boarding?

A: Please see our Boarding page for a side-by-side comparison of Premium and Standard Boarding.

Q: What are your hours for Boarding drop off and pick up?

A: We are open from 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3  pm on Saturdays, and 9 am to 3 pm on Sundays. All boarders must be dropped off at least ONE HOUR prior to closing to ensure we have enough time to chat with you and get them comfortable for their stay.

Q: How far in advance do I need to make my reservation?

A: As soon as you know! We fill up fast, especially for holidays and in the summer, sooner is always better. Make sure to refer to our deposit and cancellation policies on our Boarding page

Q: When is staff on site?

A: Someone is always on hand at Fast Friends. We have higher staffing levels during the day while the lobby is open, but we have staff on site 24/7 to monitor all of the dogs in our care.

Q: What can I bring for my dog during their boarding stay?

A: You are welcome to bring (almost) anything! Food, treats, toys, blankets, etc. We do have all of those things in the facility, so it’s totally up to you.

Q: What should I bring for food?

A: You can bring just about anything that your dog eats at home: dry food, wet food, cooked food, treats, etc. We have individual cubbies for each dog boarding with us, and we have a fridge to store all of their chilled goodies! We do ask that all dry food be pre-bagged to ensure your pup has the right sized meals during their stay.
