Karen MacIntyre, owner and operator of Canine Comeback, offers rehabilitation services to dogs that are returning to health from either surgery or an injury as well as conditioning services and weight loss for competition, service, and companion dogs.

Watch a video of Karen's dog Eiko enjoying some conditioning "work" on the water treadmill.

The Benefits of a Water Treadmill

Heated Hydrotherapy has many benefits for your dog:

  • improved strength
  • muscle endurance
  • increased range of motion (ROM)
  • cardiorespiratory endurance
  • decreased stress on healing tissues

The type of aquatic therapy used for your dog will depend on their specific rehabilitation or conditioning needs.

We will work with you and your veterinarian to establish a rehabilitation program that is best suited to your dog and their return to optimum health.

Conditioning for Pets and Working Dogs

Heated hydrotherapy prevents injury and promotes health — both need to be maintained in good physical condition year round which is sometimes challenging to achieve in our New England climate. Dietary consults are also available.

Individual Sessions:  $50 each

Fit and Trim Treadmill Conditioning Package:  $230 for 5 sessions

Comeback Rehabilitation Package:  $400 for 9 sessions
